Primary Purpose:
This role combines installation and delivery of windows. The position involves installing and delivering materials to job sites in a safe, efficient manner, while ensuring high-quality customer service.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
Installation and Delivery Management
- Task Prioritization: Effectively prioritize and manage the delivery and installation of windows.
- Independent Navigation: Navigate multiple job sites daily, often handling deliveries and installations independently.
- Procedure Adherence: Follow all installation and delivery procedures, aligning with lead installer and company standards.
Safety and Operational Proficiency
- Material Handling: Safely load, transport, and unload materials at job sites.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a high standard of safety, including Lean practices, on all job sites.
- Equipment Operation: Proficiently operate a truck, trailer, and man lift as needed.
Tool and Equipment Handling
- Tool Usage: Operate hand and power tools effectively for precise window installation.
- Quality Inspection: Inspect materials for quality and defects before and after transportation.
Customer and Team Communication
- Interpersonal Skills: Communicate clearly and courteously with customers, team members, and subcontractors.
- Team Collaboration: Support team members on-site by providing or following guidance as required to ensure successful installations.
Organization and Documentation
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation for each delivery and installation.
- Workspace Management: Keep workspaces, vehicles, and materials clean and organized, ensuring a professional environment.
Requirements
